POSCO to support S. Korea’s small and medium sized construction companies

South Korean steelmaker POSCO signed an agreement with the Korea Construction Equipment Manufacturers Association (KOCEMA) on February 11 in Seoul for technological support and supply of steel products for domestic small and medium sized companies.

POSCO executive director Jun-shik Kim and KOCEMA vice president Dong-won Choi signed the agreement in the presence of officials from South Korea's Ministry of Knowledge Economy.

POSCO has agreed with KOCEMA to provide technologies for the sector such as weight reduction technology and welding and processing technology for high-profile steel products, and has agreed to produce core parts materials for the construction equipment sector each year. POSCO will provide stable supplies of its quality products for the companies.
