Peru increases its iron ore production in September

In September this year, iron ore production in Peru amounted to 892,478 long tons (906,780 mt), increasing 81.5 percent compared to the same month of the previous year and up 57.3 percent month on month, according to Peru's Energy and Mining Ministry.

In the first nine months of the current year, the country's total iron ore production was 5.37 million long tons (5.5 million mt), marking a rise of two percent compared to the same period of the previous year.
