Panzhihua New Steel & Vanadium Company Limited announced its Q3 ex-factory prices on July 9, 2007. The details are as follows:
1. The price of HR has remained unchanged. Thus the price of 3.0 mm thick Q235 HRC is still RMB 3,530/mt ($460), while that of 5.5 mm thick Q235 HRC is RMB 3,330/mt ($440).
2. The price of CR has also remained unchanged. Thus the price of 1.0 mm thick ST12 CRC stays at RMB 4300/mt ($568).
3. The HDG price stays at its previous level. As a result, the price of 1.0 mm thick JY [140-180g/m2] HDG is still RMB 4,920/mt ($650).
4. The price of pickled steel coil has decreased RMB 150/mt ($20) compared with Q2 levels. Following this change, the new price of 3.0 mm thick SPHC pickled steel coil is RMB 3,930/mt ($512).
The above prices exclude taxes and are effective as of July 1, 2007.
