Outputs of main Chinese coal enterprises up 0.6 percent in Aug 1-20

The coal outputs of the monitored main Chinese coal enterprises amounted to 109.65 million mt during August 1-20 period this year, up 0.6 percent month on month and rising by 1.0 percent year on year, according to the China Coal Transportation and Distribution Association. Meanwhile, the coal sales of the enterprises in question totaled 110.1 million mt, down 0.4 percent month on month, while up 0.7 percent year on year.

As of August 20, the coal inventories of the coal enterprises amounted to 21.23 million mt, decreasing by 1.55 million mt or 6.8 percent compared to August 10.
