Output and Profit increase in non-ferrous metals and metallurgy industries slowed down in China

 According to the data released by China's National Development and Reform Commission, Output and Profit increase in non-ferrous metals and metallurgy industry increased, but the increase speed slowed down in H1.
 
As the data showed, the output of ten non-ferrous metals reached 16.90 million mt, a year on year increase of 9.8 percent, the growth rate decreased by 21.5 percent compared to the same period of last year. In the January-May period, the profit of non-ferrous metals reached RMB 81.68 billion ($ 12.6 billion), a year on year increase of 39.9 percent.
 
The profit of metallurgy industry increased over that of last year, and the increase derived from upstream mining and mineral processing.
In the January-May period, the profit of steel industry reached 120.6 billion ($ 18.6 billion), a year on year increase of 14.4 percent.
