Outokumpu announces June surcharges

Finland-based steelmaker Outokumpu announced alloy surcharges for its stainless steel grades effective for June 2006. In line with the statement released by the company, Outokumpu will apply an alloy surcharge of Euro 1,080 per ton on its 304 series for June 2006 deliveries. The surcharge on 304 series for May 2006 is Euro 974 per ton. On the other hand, alloy surcharge on 316 series will be Euro 2,257 per ton, up Euro 85 against May surcharge, while 430 ferritic grade series will be subject to an alloy surcharge of Euro 196 per ton, up Euro 14 against May surcharge.
