Outokumpu announces February surcharges

Finland-based steelmaker Outokumpu announced alloy surcharges for its stainless steel grades effective for February 2006. In line with the statement released by the company, Outokumpu will apply an alloy surcharge of Euro 833 per ton on its 304 series in February 2006 deliveries. The surcharge on 304 series for January 2006 is Euro 794 per ton. On the other hand, alloy surcharge on 316 series will be Euro 2,222 per ton, and 430 series will be subject to an alloy surcharge of Euro 189 per ton. The January surcharges for these series are Euro 2,297 per ton and Euro 195 per ton, respectively.
