Outokumpu and Böllinghaus Steel to partner in special shapes bar

Finland-based stainless steel producer Outokumpu has announced a sales and marketing partnership with German-based special shapes bar supplier Böllinghaus Steel. Accordingly, Böllinghaus Steel will be a distributor of Outokumpu for cold drawn and hot rolled bars in hexagons, squares and flats.

As part of the cooperation, Outokumpu’s 8-25 millimeters size range of special shapes bars will be sold by Böllinghaus Steel. The partnership will initially cover Europe (excluding Germany and the UK), the Asia-Pacific region (APAC) and Latin America.

Outokumpu stated that the partnership with Böllinghaus Steel enables Outokumpu to grow its special shapes business to many demanding customers. Meanwhile, through the partnership, Böllinghaus Steel will be able to offer a full size range of special shaped bar including a wide assortment of hot and cold formed standard profiles.
