OMK’s foundry-rolling complex sees increased output in Jan-Oct

In October of the current year, the foundry-rolling complex of Russian pipe producing company United Metallurgical Company (OMK) produced 100,000 mt of hot rolled coil (HRC). Also in the given month, the foundry-rolling complex of OMK produced 22,000 mt of steel sheets and 20,000 mt of steel strips. In October this year, the foundry-rolling complex of OMK shipped 80,000 mt of steel products.

In the January-October period of the current year, the OMK complex produced 877,000 mt of hot rolled coils, up 9.5 percent compared to the same period last year, while it also produced 151,000 mt of steel sheets and 173,000 mt of steel strips. In the given period, the complex shipped 857,000 mt of hot rolled coil, sheet and strip, up 12 percent year on year.
