Nucor plans fastener expansion in Indiana

Nucor Fastener, based in St. Joe, Indiana, has announced it will expand its operations in DeKalb County, Indiana through a $23.2 million investment. The upgrades include increasing the facility by 40,000 square feet, and improving bolt-making and nut-forming capabilities.

Nucor Fastener supplies nuts and bolts to the construction, maintenance, and heavy truck industries. The company has been offered $200,000 in conditional tax credits from the Indiana Economic Development Corporation.
