Nucor Corporation announced this week that its wholly-owned subsidiary, Verco Decking Inc., has completed the purchase of the assets of Verco
Manufacturing Company for $180 million in cash.

Manufacturing Company produces steel floor and roof decking. After the addition of the company's three locations in western United States to
Nucor's existing Vulcraft Group, the largest
US manufacturer of steel deck,
Nucor's total annual deck capacity will exceed 500,000 net tons.
