Nucor announces October 2005 raw materials surcharge
Nucor has announced their October raw materials surcharge on all sheet products. The company says the new surcharge will be $5.50 cwt. ($110/net ton, $121.25/metric ton) for all orders placed with an expected delivery date between October 8 and October 29. The new raw materials surcharge is a $2.27 cwt. ($50/nt, $55.12/mt) effective price increase to customers. Now that the final surcharge has been determined, Nucor will reopen its October order books for its remaining rolling capacity.Nucor announces October 2005 raw materials surcharge
