NSC to operate at full capacity to meet demand

Japanese steel producer Nippon Steel Corporation (NSC) announced that it will continue to operate at full capacity during the upcoming fiscal year, starting on April 1, 2005, in order to meet strong demand for high-quality steel products. High-quality steel products constitute 85% of NSC's exports. Through continuing to operate at full capacity, NSC will remain competitive with overseas rivals. High-quality steel products are used mostly by the automotive and shipbuilding industries.
