North China mills issue unchanged longs prices for Jan.

SteelOrbis Shanghai On December 27, the five leading mills in northern China (Shougang, Tangshan Steel, Xuanhua Steel, Tianjin Steel and Chengde Steel) announced their January prices for long products. 1. Rebar: prices for rebar retained their December levels. The price of 16-25 mm diameter HRB335 rebar is still at RMB 3,000/mt ($384), that of 12-14 mm is at RMB 3,100/mt ($396), the price of 16-25 mm diameter HRB400 rebar is at RMB 3,100/mt ($396), while that of 12-14 mm remains at RMB 3,200/mt ($409). 2. Wire rod: the prices of high speed wire rod also remained at the levels of December. The price of 6.5 mm diameter Q235 high speed wire rod has thus remained at RMB 3,000/mt ($384). 17 percent VAT is included in all the above prices.
