Non-financial FDI by Chinese companies up 34.9 percent in Jan-Apr

In the January-April period of the current year, non-financial foreign direct investment (FDI) by Chinese companies totaled $35.58 billion, up 34.9 percent year on year, as announced by China's Ministry of Commerce (MOC).

In the given period, contracts for foreign projects signed by Chinese companies were worth a total value of $44.83 billion, up 13.9 percent year on year.

Meanwhile, in the January-April period this year, Chinese companies made new investments worth a total of $4.67 billion in the 46 countries of the One Belt, One Road area, up 17.3 percent year on year.
