New rolling mill to be commissioned in February 2012 in West Azerbaijan

Construction of a new rolling mill in West Azerbaijan Province would finish in the near future and the mill will be commissioned in early of February 2012, according to West Azerbaijan authorities. Construction of rolling mill already has progressed about 95 percent.
 
The mill located in Miyandoab city will be able to produce 75,000 mt of rebar, flat bar and angles per year. A budget of 36 billion Rials (about $ 3.3 million) will be invested for the project. West Azerbaijan authorities also expressed that there is already 10 operating rolling mills with a capacity of 300,000 mt per year of long products in that province.
