New export tender by Erdemir

Turkish steelmaker Erdemir announced a new export tender this week for HRC, CRC, and HDG products. Closing date is Nov 14th. Most recent export sales of HRC were at $430/mt FOB St base for the US and $420-425/mt FOB St base for other markets. The mill also had a tender for 30'000 metric tons of prime over-rolling HRC before the end of Ramadan holidays. According to market sources, they received bids of around $370/mt FOB St base; however, Erdemir did not accept any orders as they did not find the bids good enough.
