New billet caster for SMI Steel

According to recent news in the market, Concast America Inc and Concast AG have received an order for a four-strand billet caster for special bar quality (SBQ) products from US based SMI Steel. The order is given for SMI Steel Inc's melt shop in Seguin, Texas. With the installation of the new billet caster, SMI will be one of the leading SBQ producers in the market. When the construction of the new caster will commence is not disclosed yet.
