Net profit of Chinese large scale enterprises up 27 percent in Jan-Sept

According to the National Bureau of Statistics of China, in the first nine months of the current year the aggregate net profit of all large scale industrial enterprises in China (including all state-owned industrial enterprises and enterprises with annual sales revenue of above RMB 5 million ($78.9 million)) reached RMB 3.6834 trillion ($580 billion), rising by 27 percent compared to the same period of last year.
 
Of the large scale Chinese industrial enterprises in question, state-owned enterprises achieved a total net profit of RMB 1.1491 trillion ($181 billion), up 19.8 percent year on year.
