NBS: Local Chinese rebar prices down 1.1% in late November

In late November this year, the average price in China of 16-25 mm HRB 400 rebar decreased by RMB 38.2/mt ($5.3/mt) or 1.1 percent to RMB 3,332.2/mt ($463/mt), compared to the price in mid-November (November 11-20), as announced by China’s National Bureau of Statistics.

In the given period, the average prices of wire rod, medium plate, hot rolled coil (HRC), seamless steel pipes and angles declined by 0.5 percent, 0.2 percent, 0.1 percent, 0.4 percent and 0.8 percent, respectively, all compared to mid-November.
