More dated iron and steel capacities to be eliminated in Hebei

According to the authorities in China's Hebei Province, so far elimination of backward production capacities in the local coking industry, iron and steel industry and coal industry are respectively 30 percent, 26 percent and 30 percent short of their targets for the current year. If the related industries cannot accomplish their elimination tasks before the deadline of the end of November, operating licenses will be revoked.
 
To date, the plate glass, zinc smelting, leather, alcohol and ferroalloy industries in Hebei Province have completed their capacity elimination tasks for 2011.
