MOC: Average steel prices in China indicate slight rises during June 5-11

China's Ministry of Commerce (MOC) has announced that during the June 5-11 period this year the overall average finished steel price in China edged up slightly.    

In the given period, the average prices of steel channels, rebar and high-speed wire rod increased by 1.5 percent, 1.4 percent and 1.4 percent week on week, respectively.     

In the same period, the average prices of coking coal, smoke-free lump coal and thermal coal moved down by 2.3 percent, 2.6 percent and 4.5 percent week on week, respectively.
