MOC: Average steel prices in China indicate slight decline

China's Ministry of Commerce (MOC) has stated that last week (June 18-24) average steel prices in China declined by 0.1 percent week on week, amid lower prices from major domestic steel producers and increased steel production. In particular, in the given week prices of 500 mm x 200 mm H-beam, 3 mm hot rolled sheet and 12 mm rebar declined by 0.3 percent, 0.3 percent and 0.2 percent week on week, respectively.  
 
In the week ending June 24, average prices of iron ore in China rose by 0.9 percent, while average raw coal prices declined by 2.2 percent, both week on week.
