China's Ministry of Commerce (MOC) has announced that during last week (February 6-12) the overall average finished steel price in China increased by 0.9 percent week on week.
In the given week, average prices of rebar, common round steel and high-speed wire rod in China increased by 1.3 percent, 1.4 percent and 1.4 percent week on week, respectively.
In the same week, the average price of non-ferrous metals in China increased by 1.2 percent week on week. The average price of nickel (Ni> = 99.2%) rose by 4.3 percent compared to the previous week.
In the week in question, the average price of coal in China declined by 0.2 percent week on week. In particular, the average prices of anthracite coal remained unchanged, the average prices of thermal coal decreased by 0.4 percent, while the average prices of coking coal increased by 0.5 percent, all week on week.
