China's Ministry of Commerce (MOC) has announced that during last week (November 14-20) the overall average finished steel price in China increased by 0.9 percent week on week.
In the given week, average prices of seamless steel pipe, cold rolled sheet, common round steel and welded steel pipe in China rose by 2.2 percent, 1.7 percent, 1.5 percent and 1.5 percent week on week, respectively.
In the same week, the average price of non-ferrous metals in China decreased by 1.3 percent week on week. The average price of nickel (Ni> = 99.2%) declined by 0.2 percent compared to the previous week.
In the week in question, the average price of coal in China increased by 0.8 percent week on week. In particular, the average prices of anthracite coal, coking coal and thermal coal all moved up by 0.8 percent week on week.
