MOC: Average finished steel price in China edges down

On October 14, China's Ministry of Commerce (MOC) announced that during last week (October 6-12) the overall average finished steel price in China declined by 0.3 percent week on week.
In the given week, average prices of both equal angles and I-beams in China decreased by 0.4 percent week on week.

In the same week, the average price of non-ferrous metals in China decreased by 0.6 percent compared to the previous week. The average price of nickel (Ni >= 99.2%) declined by 1.8 percent week on week.

In addition, in the week in question, the average price of coal in China increased by 0.1 percent compared to the previous week. In particular, the average prices of coking coal and anthracite coal rose by 0.5 percent and 0.1 percent respectively, while thermal coal prices remained stable,all week on week.
