MOC: Average finished steel price in China down 1.2 percent

On July 1, China's Ministry of Commerce (MOC) announced that during last week (June 22-28) the overall average finished steel price in China decreased by 1.2 percent week on week.
 
In the given week, average prices of channels and equal angles in China declined by 1.5 percent and 1.4 percent week on week, respectively.

In the same week, the average price of non-ferrous metals in China decreased by 0.1 percent compared to the previous week. The average price of nickel (Ni >= 99.2%) declined by 0.8 percent compared to the previous week.

In addition, in the week in question, the average price of coal in China decreased by 0.2 percent week on week. In particular, the average prices of anthracite coal and coking coal declined by 0.9 percent and 0.2 percent week on week respectively, while the price of thermal coal remained unchanged week on week.
