MOC: Average finished steel price in China down 1.1 percent

On December 1, China's Ministry of Commerce (MOC) announced that during last week (November 23-29) the overall average finished steel price in China decreased by 1.1 percent week on week.

In the given week, average prices of high-speed wire rod and common medium plate in China both declined by 1.3 percent week on week.

In the same week, the average price of non-ferrous metals in China increased by 1.6 percent compared to the previous week. The average price of nickel (Ni> = 99.2%) rose by 1.1 percent compared to the previous week.

In addition, in the week in question, the average price of coal in China decreased by 0.1 percent week on week. In particular, the average price of coking coal declined by 0.3 percent, while the average prices of anthracite coal and thermal coal remained stable week on week.
