Moldavian Metallurgical Plant (MMZ) has announced its production results for the January-July period of the current year.
During the period in question, MMZ produced 161,081 mt of crude steel and 187,521 mt of rolled steel products, including 53,182 mt of wire rod and 134,339 mt of rebar. MMZ's January-July 2009 deliveries amounted to 187,326 mt, including 85,785 mt to non-CIS countries and 101,541 mt to CIS countries. The producer's deliveries of special grade steel products amounted to 17,053 mt during the period in question.
In July this year, MMZ produced 24,867 mt of crude steel and 23,099 mt of finished steel products, including 15,327 mt of rebar and 7,772 mt of wire rod.
MMZ's July deliveries amounted to 41,250 mt, including 5,181 mt of special grade steel products.
