The Russian steel producer Magnitogorsk Iron and Steel Works (MMK) has announced the completion of assembly and startup of a new system of wet dressing at dressing mill 2500 at its workshop No.5

The equipment for wet dressing was supplied by the Italian company Techint.

The new system installed at the mill 2500 will allow MMK to increase its output of the first stage of surface furnishing by five to six times, and also to improve the quality of produced cold rolled sheets by excluding dirt print defects.
