MMK to raise domestic sales to 6.5 million mt in 2007

Russian Magnitogorsk Iron and Steel Works (MMK) stated that priority of the mill's marketing policy is to raise sales in the domestic market. In particular, MMK intends to raise domestic sales to 6.5 million mt in 2007. As commented in MMK's release, during years 2000-2005, giving the total production increase of 18 percent, the volumes of domestic deliveries rose 45 percent while amounts of exports remained unchanged.
