MMK granted Lloyds shipbuilding certificate

Russian steel producer Magnitogorsk Iron & Steel Works (MMK) has been granted a certification by Lloyds Register for its steel used in shipbuilding. The certificate is expected to increase steel shipments of the company to the shipbuilding industry. Last year, MMK delivered 30'000 metric tons of steel to the shipbuilders.
