MMK doubles its steel sales to Kazakhstan

Russian steel producer Magnitogorsk Iron and Steel Works (MMK) has announced that since the beginning of the current year, its trading company MMK Trading House’s rolled steel sales to Kazakhstan have more than doubled to over 75,000 mt. In May this year, local units of MMK shipped more than 20,000 mt of steel to Kazakhstan, which is the highest monthly volume in the history of the company.
 
According to MMK, MMK Trading House has long been successfully operating in the market of Kazakhstan, the largest market for steel in the CIS, and has been steadily increasing its sales to the country.
