The Russian steelmaker Magnitogorsk Iron and Steel Works (MMK) has announced the completion of modernization and commencement of production at its cross slitting line No. 2.
During the modernization new equipment produced by Italian firm FIMI was installed at the line.
The line's daily production capacity has been increased to 300 mt as a result of the modernization.
