Mittal-Georgetown ups wire rod prices by $30 /nt
Mittal-Georgetown has announced it will increase its wire rod prices by $30 /nt ($33 /mt or $1.50 cwt.), effective with shipments August 1, 2006. The company stated in a release that the increase, applicable to all wire rod products, is necessary to offset raw material costs and other associated steelmaking costs.
