Mittal announces final timetable for Arcelor offer

Mittal Steel Co. plans to release the results of its offer for steel rival Arcelor SA on July 26, the company said Wednesday. Shareholders have to accept Mittal's offer until July 13. If the offer goes through, the stock swap should take place on August 1, Mittal said. Luxembourg, Belgian, Spanish and French market regulators approved Mittal's recommended offer for Arcelor on Tuesday.
