MIIT: China’s industrial added-value up 16.3 percent in Jan-Sept

According to the data released by China's Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT), China's industrial added-value saw 16.3 percent growth in the January-September period of this year as compared to the corresponding period of 2009, in line with previous expectations, but was slightly down 0.3 percent compared to the 16.6 percent increase recorded in .January-August this year.

Minister at the MIIT, Li Yi, said that this year the domestic industry sector has continued to achieve stable and rapid growth. It is expected that the industry added-value will rise 13 percent in the whole year compared to the corresponding period of 2009.
