Metinvest’s KhPW sees LD pipe output decrease in May

According to the data issued by the Ukrainian iron ore and steel producer Metinvest Holding (Metinvest), in May this year its subsidiary Khartsyzsk Pipe Works (KhPW) decreased its large diameter (LD) pipe output to 23,976 mt from 40,283 mt in April, registering a 40.5 percent drop month on month.
 
In January-May this year, KhPW produced 95,383 mt of LD pipes - down 63.2 percent compared to the same period last year when the plant produced 259,150 mt of LD pipes.
