Maanshan Iron and Steel Group’s crude steel output up 5.8% in 2017

Anhui Province-based Chinese steelmaker Maanshan Iron and Steel Co. (Masteel) has announced that its parent company Maanshan Iron and Steel Group has produced 18.17 million mt of pig iron, 19.71 million mt of crude steel and 18.60 million mt of finished steel in 2017, up 3.00 percent, 5.80 percent and 5.14 percent, respectively, year on year.

Meanwhile, Maanshan Iron and Steel Group plans to produce 18.30 million mt of pig iron, 19.85 million mt of crude steel and 18.82 million mt of finished steel in 2018.
