Logistics costs in China up 7.1% in Jan-Nov

In the first eleven months of the current year, total logistics costs in China amounted to RMB 12.8 trillion ($1.83 trillion), up 7.1 percent year on year, as announced by China’s National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC).

In particular, in the given period China’s transportation costs amounted to RMB 6.7 trillion ($0.96 trillion), indicating a year-on-year increase of 6.5 percent, storage costs amounted to RMB 4.5 trillion ($0.64 trillion), up 7.8 percent year on year, while management costs totaled RMB 1.6 trillion ($0.23 trillion), up 7.5 percent year on year.
