Liuzhou Steel’s crude steel production exceeds 8 million mt in 2009

By December 21, Liuzhou Steel's crude steel production broke the mark of 8 million mt, indicating a new breakthrough of this company.

Since 2003 with its crude steel production exceeding 2 million mt, Liuzhou Steel registered fast development at an average annual growth of 1 million mt of crude steel and finally broke 8 million mt. In recent year, Liuzhou Steel has invested more than RMB 10 billion ($1.46 billion with actual currency exchange rate) in eliminating dated capacities and updating its equipments and technologies to the advanced levels.
