On September 1, Hunan Province-based LianYuan Steel announced an upward adjustment of its ex-factory prices for flat products. The details are as follows:
HR:
The ex-factory prices of >3.0 mm thick HR have increased RMB 270/mt ($36/mt), those of <3.0 mm thick HR increased RMB 240/mt ($32/mt). As a result, the new price of 2.75 mm thick Q235 HRC is RMB 4,400/mt ($583/mt), while that of 5.5 mm thick Q235 HRC is RMB 4,230/mt ($560/mt).
CR:
The ex-factory prices have risen by RMB 120/mt ($16/mt). After adjustment, the new price of 1.0 mm thick SPCC CRC is RMB 4,820/mt ($638/mt).
HDG:
The ex-factory prices have gone up RMB 100/mt ($13/mt). Following the adjustment, the new price of 1.0 mm thick ST01 HDG is RMB 5,040/mt ($668/mt).
Full Hard:
The ex-factory prices have increased RMB 100/mt ($13/mt). After the adjustment, the new price of 1.0 mm thick SPCC Full Hard is at RMB 4,330/mt ($574/mt).
The above prices include 17 percent VAT and are effective as of September 1, 2007.
