Lianyuan Steel issues new prices

SteelOrbis Shanghai On March 1, Hunan Province-based Lianyuan Steel announced upward adjustments to the ex-factory prices of some of its products. The details are as follows: The ex-factory price of HR increased RMB 100/mt ($13/mt). The new price of 5.5 mm thick Q235 HRC is RMB 4,300/mt ($556/mt) The ex-factory price of CR increased RMB 50/mt ($6/mt). After adjustment, the price of 1.0 mm thick SPCC CRC is RMB 4,980/mt ($643/mt). The ex-factory price of full hard increased RMB 50/mt ($6/mt). The new price of 1.0 mm thick SPCC full hard stands at RMB 4,430/mt ($572/mt). All the above prices include 17 percent VAT and are effective as of March 1, 2007.
