Kunming Yeyan New Material’s new ferroalloy project comes on stream

On July 29, Yunnan Province-based Chinese company Kunming Yeyan New Material Co. put it new manganese-ferroalloy project into full production at Shangri-La Industrial Park in Yunnan, after the completion of the third phase of the project. The overall project has an annual output capacity of 100,000 mt, as reported by local newspaper Yunnan Information Daily.
 
The project included the construction of two electric furnaces and related workshops and auxiliary facilities, and was built with a total investment of about RMB 270 million ($41.93 million).
