Krakatau Steel signs HRC supply deal with Essar Indonesia

Indonesia-based steelmaker PT Krakatau Steel (Persero) Tbk (PT KS) announced on January19 that it has signed an agreement with Essar Indonesia for the supply of 180,000 mt of hot rolled coils (HRC).
 
Accordingly, Krakatau Steel will supply a minimum of 12,500 mt per month and a maximum of 15,000 mt per month of hot rolled coil to be rerolled into cold rolled coils. The hot rolled coils will range in thickness between 2 mm and 4.5 mm, with widths of 750-1,250 mm.
