Krakatau Steel increases HRC production
Indonesian state-owned steel producer Krakatau Steel announced plans to expand its hot rolled coil capacity to 3.4 million tons from the current 2.4 million tons with an investment of approximately $550 million. The capacity expansion project is scheduled to be completed by 2008. The capacity expansion plan is a part of company's project to reach a 10 million-ton steel production capacity per year by 2013.Krakatau Steel increases HRC production
