Turkish integrated long steel producer Kardemir Karabuk Demir Celik Sanayi ve Ticaret A.S. (Kardemir) has announced that it has received a TSI (technical specifications for interoperability) certificate from internationally recognized German-based certification company Eisenbahn-Cert for its R350HT quality long-lasting hardened rails and for the six different types of R350HT quality products (49E1, 49E5, 54E1, 54E4, 60E1, 60E2).
In addition, Kardemir has also qualified for the TSI certification for its R260 quality rail products in nine different types (46E2, 49E1, 49E5, 50E4, 50E6, 54E1, 54E4, 60E1, 60E2).
The company stated that its long-lasting hardened rail products will respond to the needs of the rail systems infrastructure, especially high-speed train and metro lines, in Turkey.
The certification will enable Kardemir to supply all the rail types and qualities that Turkey needs and to supply high quality products to Europe and other global markets.
