Kardemir in talks for rail track supplies to Iran

In a statement made by Turkish long steel mill Kardemir A.S. to Istanbul Stock Exchange, the company said that it is carrying out negotiations with Iranian State Railways to supply 20,000 mt of rail tracks.

According to the company, a group of representatives from Iranian State Railways has visited Kardemir for the negotiations. Details relating to the talks have not been disclosed.

The company is also reported to be planning investments in Iran. However, a company spokesperson declined to confirm these reports when contacted.
