Jinxin Steel ready to put 120 mt converter into production

Hebei Province-based Jinxin Iron and Steel Co., Ltd has recently finished the construction of its 120 mt converter which is now ready to be put into production.

The first stage of the project in question includes the construction of a 1300 mt mixer furnace, a 120 mt converter, a 120 mt ladle furnace, a double dual-stream continuous slab casting machine and some additional supporting facilities. The new converter has a planned annual production capacity of 3 million metric tons of steel, including 1.5 million metric tons of cast slabs.
