Jindal to invest about $700 million in steel sector

According to recent news in the market, Indian stainless steel producer Jindal Group is planning to invest $600-800 million in steel sector. The company CEO visited Chittagong, the commercial capital of Bangladesh, to determine the site for the investment. Jindal Group may reportedly invest in this city. Moreover the company is planning to conduct feasibility study in Bangladesh and produce galvanized steel pipes in the country. As previously reported by SteelOrbis, another Indian steel producer Tata Iron and Steel Corp (TISCO) in October signed an agreement with the Bangladeshi government to build steel plant in the country.
